Hi all,

How is everyone else in Melbourne that was hit by the Hail Storm?

Just had the worst hail storm here. The hail stones were the size of golf balls. When I looked out the window the ground looked like it was covered in snow {but it was hail stones}. The trampoline hovered off the ground at one stage. As the wind was so strong and kept changing direction.

My poor horses as soon as the hail stopped I went out into the pouring rain and electrical storm to check them all. The bucket my mum has for her birds as drinking water looked like someone fired a shotgun through it. Anything plastic outside is in pieces. I was so worried about eye damaged. To my relief they are all ok.

My car is not. But at least I can still drive it.

All the trees have been pruned. There are pieces of trees and leaves everywhere along with all the hail stones. Ground is covered in ice and water. At the peak of the storm I thought we might loose a window. Did loose a outside light and globe.

My washing {hung outside} is a little holey now  and very muddy.

How is everyone else?

Cheers

Kel

We got a bit of rain here in Newcombe but i think some other parts of Geelong got a bit flooded. We went to Werribee for the Showcase and that got a bit washed out, but no hail thank goodness.

Wow Kelly. Bad enough but thank goodness no people or animals were involved.

We had hail to the west and hail to the east... missed us completely.
